Anthony was so supportive to his Committee. When I took over a Souvenir Secretary and bought a Gazebo to take to events, he quickly said that the metal pegs supplied were not strong enough to hold the guy ropes, and turned up with some more substantial pegs, together with a gadget he had made to help pull them out of the ground again. He was a gem and will be sadly missed.
